Uniting Financial Services nominated for Two Tech Industry Awards

Uniting Financial Services (UFS) and its software partner Infosys have been nominated for not one but two awards for the migration from the Temanos platform to Finacle in May 2025.

The first of these is a global award, the Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2026. UFS has been nominated in the category of Transformation Excellence – Core Modernisation on SaaS. The winners of these awards will be announced in early June.

In addition, UFS has also received a nomination for the ISG ANZ Paragon Awards, which recognise best-in-class partnerships, innovation and excellence between technology providers and their clients. UFS has been nominated in the category of Excellence and winners will be announced on 14 May.

Ross Smith, UFS CEO said: “Given the fact that the team had a five-month timeframe in which to launch the new platform, it is fair to say that a great deal of work was put in by UFS, Synod IT and our software partners InfoSys to make this change happen. Many people worked weekends or even overnight to bring the migration to fruition.  It is a real testament to the collaboration between those three teams that the work was completed successfully in such a short time.  As CEO I want to acknowledge and commend the commitment of all concerned.”
