We would love to see you at one of our services.

We worship every Sunday at 9.30am (11.30am on the 5th Sunday in a month) 

Our Church atmosphere is friendly and relaxed so make yourself at home.  Hopefully you will like it!

How to find us?

Located centrally within the town, only two minutes’ walk from Main Street and five minutes’ walk from the railway station, we have a small parking area within the Church grounds (with three parking places for disability parking permit holders). Our location on the corner of Mort and Bridge Streets means we also have lots of on-street parking as well.

Through the lychgate on the corner you will enter the beautiful Sorenson gardens in which the Church and our Parish Centre are situated.  If the doors are open, the Church is open. The Parish Centre contains toilet facilities, the kitchen and the Parish Office. 

Services

Our Sunday service is at 9.30am (11.30am on the fifth Sunday of the month and includes readings from the Bible, a message from one of our Lay Preachers or Pastors and traditional hymns with organ accompaniment.  Large screens project everything you need to follow all of the service including the words of the hymns.  The Ministers provide any additional guidance and explanations throughout the service.

Communion is celebrated every fourth Sunday in the month and everyone is welcome to receive Communion.

Music

Our Church has a fine pipe organ and a grand piano.  Sometimes special musical ensembles or the Taize choir (including our children’s choir despite not having a Sunday School at present) play and sing on various Sundays, Church Open Days (on some Saturdays) and services throughout the year.

After the Service

After the Service, we will welcome you to the Parish Centre to share morning tea and a chat.  Our welcomers whom you would have met when you entered the Church and who would have given you our weekly newsletter would love to give you more information about our Church.
