Our Missions
Our missions are founded in four pillar, "Pastoral Care - Spiritual Leadership - Future Focus - Activities Today '.
Pastoral Care: - Young People – Disability – Active Retirement
· Noah's Ark - a long running program of over 20 years for young parents with children up to Pre School age.
· Street University – advocacy and support for the establishment of the Ted Noffs Foundation's successful formula The Street University for the Lithgow region - young people 12-25 years.
· UnitingCare Lithgow - a long running program of over 20 years providing disability support.
· BeeHive Recreative - centre-based activities promoting active retirement opportunities for all ages.
Spiritual Life: - The Church Family
· One Parish Three Congregations for active spiritual community connection through worship and lay leadership.
· Bible Studies essential for living the Christian theology.
· Sunday Sessions for Music, Song & Events.
Future Focus: - Community Outreach
· Hoskins Memorial Church Trust
· The Parish Centre
· Events including the annual community fete, BeeHive Garden Party, High Tea, and Church Tours.
Activities Today: - Teaching – Learning- Companionship, Blessing, Prayer
· Fostering leadership, volunteering and letting people find their niche as they are called for to service.
· Sharing the wider word from the Uniting Church in Australia, the Synod NSW & Act and Presbytery ministry.
